Hi there, friends!

I’m writing to just say that I know I haven’t been very active online lately, but I have been learning & absorbing as much knowledge as I can about the online marketing and business world. I’m on a new mission to help as many people as possible by inspiring and encouraging them to live their best lives through love, kindness and a peaceful inner calm.

Some of you may know this, but I live with several chronic illnesses that leave my body in a dull, aching and exhausting state of being. I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain, cardiomyopathy (although my heart is functioning at a normal rate currently), arthritis is my lower back, chronic insomnia, anemia, IBS, PTSD, chronic depression, high anxiety, and OCD.

Yes, that is A LOT of things – some may say, even unbelievable! – but, I promise, it is all true!

I, also, have 2 artificial knees and a pacemaker/internal defibrillator. So, I can’t literally run, even though my little-engine-that-could runs on batteries! (I love wordplay!)

Anyhoo, with all the above going on, I am left with my thoughts a lot, and have realized the some things:

1. I am now an introvert perfectly happy spending all day on my laptop doing my finances, social networking, digital marketing, learning about all kinds of things, reading emails, and so on, and so on…

2. What I have learned over the years, and what my life has become, is an example of how a medical problem can turn into a downward spiral taking your life for a ride you don’t want to go on. And, when you finally get spat out at the end, all may not be ‘sitting pretty’ anymore.

3. When you find yourself head over rump, the necessary action is to try and right yourself as soon as you can! Because the only reason, and the only way, to become truly happy is to help and serve others.

4. To help and serve others is not as simple as it sounds. It requires not only physical energy, but mental and emotional energy, as well! To give of yourself can turn into resentment, if you’re not careful.

Now, you may ask, what is the relation between life lessons and my chronic ailments?

Well, here we go…

1. The life I imagined for myself is no longer possible, but, if I pivot just a little and reprioritize, then I am facing a whole wide open space of other possibilities!

2. Aligning myself on a new course brings into view new options that I can take while in my physical condition.

3. I have had an up close, and personal, relationship with what it feels like to live with a small temporary ailment all the way up to not being able to walk. And, I can tell you for certain, it is no small feat to face the challenge of knowing you are going to live every single day for the rest of your life without being able to say, “Oh, me? I’m good!”. Or, if you do, your version of “good” is absolutely judged on a curve!

4. So, I have decided to help and serve by encouraging and inspiring other women to find strength and empowerment within themselves. Therefore, each woman can live her best life for herself and the others that she decides to help and serve.

5. The virtual space is my ideal platform to accomplish this, with Youtube and Instagram being my main ones to focus on. In the future, I will be starting a podcast and would like to start setting up some interviews now regarding your chronic journey or if you love someone who is on theirs.

6. I did mention a Youtube channel – check it out at www.bit.ly/ChronicYT and Instagram at www.bit.ly/ChronicInspIG and, also, of course, Facebook at www.bit.ly/chronicfacebook – and, as aways, here on my blog!

So, here to a better 2nd half of 2020 – may it be a helluva lot better than the first!

And, we’ll see where this chronic journey takes us!

Vlog #1 – Finally, just jumping in!

First, let me preface these videos by telling you that I had been planning to start this project for years but could not bring it together. My own illness and other conditions kept getting in the way – among all the “life-things” I was already doing!

So, one day I said enough and just decided to follow the advice of seasoned You-tubers who said to just jump in and get started. They said that no matter what, I was going to make awful videos at first and the only way to get past them is to just go through them! Just plan on those crappy videos and get ’em done!

So, that’s what I did.

Here is the first one for your viewing pleasure.

And, away we go!

Now, feel free to continue over on my channel, but before you go – would you consider to help get this channel going by signing up for our emails? I would greatly appreciate it!

Have a good day and remember to hug a pillow!
